Dr. Sarah Boyce Sawyer is one of the few fellowship-trained dermatologic surgeons in Birmingham. She specializes in skin cancer prevention and treatment. Dr. Sawyer is also extensively trained in minimally invasive cosmetic procedures including BotoxCosmetic, soft tissue fillers such as Restylane®, JuvedermTM, Radiesse®, and Sculptra®.  Dr. Sawyer also operates Alabama's most extensive and comprehensive line of laser devices leading the state in skin rejuvenation, treatment of age spots, sun damage reversal, laser hair removal and laser tattoo removal. 

After attending medical school and finishing residency training at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama, she received fellowship training in San Diego, California. There she obtained expert skills in advanced laser procedures and skin cancer therapy, as well as purely cosmetic procedures including tumescent liposuction, leg vein treatments and care of photoaged skin.
