Dr. Sawyer currently operates Alabama's most extensive and comprehensive line of laser devices leading the state in skin rejuvenation, treatment of age spots and many other laser procedures.
Dr. Sawyer is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, the American Academy of Dermatology. the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery , the American Acadamy of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Society for Mohs Surgery.
Dr. Sawyer spent one entire year after residency in a dermatologic surgery fellowship in southern California with one of the world's leading laser procedure experts. There she spent intensive uninterrupted time gaining knowledge about the most advanced techniques in procedural dermatology and perfecting her laser procedure skills. Dr. Sawyer is now on faculty for advanced cosmetic and surgical courses where she teaches other dermatologists how to help patients make choices about these procedures and how to perform the procedures. She has personally trained numerous physicians in laser procedure techniques. Candela Laser currently consults with Dr. Sawyer for her expertise in product development and training.
